  REPORT

Northwood moved into the semi-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup with an excellent 3-0 win over Ryman Premier outfit Hampton & Richmond Borough at Chestnut Avenue this evening.

The Woods took the lead in the 24th minute when Spencer Bellotti got the final touch after Oliver Hawkins had powerfully headed a corner towards the net, and Bellotti fired home the second in first half stoppage time.

Hampton pressed strongly after the break, but the home side defended strongly, with keeper James Reading again in fine form, and Northwood wrapped up the tie with substitute Niko Muir's 73rd minute strike. Woods travel in the semi-final to Ashford Town, who defeated North Greenford 1-0 tonight.
